GoldSoul are one of the hottest northern bands in the UK right now. Having been publicly endorsed by a number of national and international artists such as BRMC & Kasabian, they have since been been voted by NME as One-to-Watch and their energetic live performances have gained them a sterling reputation.
The boys – David Mapson Jnr (Guitar and Vocals), Darren Pegg (Bass), Brady Denton (Drums) & Michael Mulholland (Guitar, Vocals & Harmonica) – will play Dublin Castle in Camden on the 5th May. If you’re free that Saturday night, we recommend you Londoners get yourselves down to their impending gig.
- What’s your favourite BAR?
Our favourite bar is the Bucks Head in Camden – the lighting and the ales on offer are immense. The light shades down the back are the best place to sit and disappear from everyone and they look cool as a cucumber. - What’s your favourite FASHION ITEM?
Our favourite fashion item that Londoners wear is a Chelsea Pensioner’s coat, they’re the mutts nuts! - What’s your favourite CLUB?
This has to be the Death Disco in Notting Hill on a wednesday night. We so happen to be playing there on 25th July too, it’s a total honour to be invited. - Which is your favourite SHOP/BRAND?
Without a doubt, The Pretty Green shop in Covent Garden. - What’s your favourite VENUE?
Water Rats near Kings Cross. It’s where Gem Archer out of Beady Eye watched us and said we sounded ‘ferocious’. - Which is your favourite HOTEL?
Favourite hotel has gotta be Buckingham Palace! [Laughs] That’s what they should use it for. - What’s your favourite RESTAURANT?
Qing Buffet on Kentish Town Road in Camden. All you can eat for £7! And the food is absolutely immense, and it’s meat free for all the veggies out there too. - What’s your favourite ACTIVITY?
Hmmm, activity. We’ve never been one for sites, due to all the drinking and sleeping! [Laughs] The Tate Modern‘s as cool as it gets though when they have Dali and Pollock on show. - What’s your favourite BOROUGH?
Favourite borough without a doubt is Camden. One of the biggest melting pots and coolest places around. Can’t wait to get back there to play Dublin Castle!
